For example, if you are a plumber selling water heaters, did you place the ad under plumbing or water heaters? Look in your local book and decide where the majority of ads are residing. It's rather like fishing where most of the other folks are putting their hooks. You want to be in the heading that's most used for your particular product or service. The same would apply to washing machine repair. Do you go in that category or under appliance repair? Check out the competition for the answer.

In all of his sales materials, Mr. Godot promises prompt, personal, courteous, and affordable plumbing service. (When will tradesmen start being honest by admitting that they fully intend to be late, rude, and over-priced?) In any case, I decide that Mr. Godot is my man and call the number in the Yellow Pages. Oh yes he also promises that trustworthy drain leak repair a real live human being will answer the phone. Evidently, that only applies on weekdays. Fine. His telephone machine tells me that if this is an emergency to press five on my keypad and leave a description of my problem. Someone, he says, will get right back to me.

Well it is possible. Now all you have to do is make a phone call and someone will match up a skilled person to suit your needs. So gone are the days when repair and maintenance were a big deal. Not any more. There are services available for all your needs, be it carpentry, painting, pluming, gardening etc. Name it and you can get it. An emergency plumber can come in very handy when you have accidentally choked you kitchen sink, clogged your toilet or simply have a leaky tap. There is no need to worry. The emergency plumber is here to stay. So don't fret. Don't fume. Pick up the phone and call and watch your problems get solved by the emergency plumber.



Plumbing problems can be a real headache but so can looking for a good plumber to fix them! Ask for feedback from customers, friends and family, even total strangers if you have to. Ask them what they think of your logo - what does it evoke? What do they think of your company name? Objective, third party feedback is your best source of information on how the public perceives you. A good image is crafted slowly over time.
